St. John the Baptist Catholic Church strives to be the embodiment and the extension of Our Savior and Spiritual Leader, Jesus Christ.   We Do This:
  • By praising Him as a community and nourishing a spirituality that permeates all aspects of our Parish Life.
  • By following His example as Teacher and formulating Christian learning experiences for all our members.
  • By accepting His challenge to build the Kingdom of God and actively working to remedy the social ills of our local and global community.
  • By acknowledging God as Father, our neighbors and fellow parishoners as brothers and sisters; enabling our parish to be family.

Our Parish is a community of approximately 1200 families.  Our grade school and pre-school programs serve approximately 220 students.

Our boundaries encompass areas from Arsenal on the north, Grand on the east, Kingshighway on the west and Bates on the South including neighborhoods of Tower Grove South, Dutchtown West, Newport Heights, Holly Hills and Bevo.
