Girl Scout Troop 4189 wants your extra kids’ books! As a service project, the troop will be collecting, sorting, and selling books in 2012. All proceeds will be donated to St. John the Baptist to provide funds for new tests and books for the SJB Accelerated Reader program.
Books will be sold at the fish fries Feb 24, March 16, and at the parish rummage sale on March 24. In the meantime, you can donate your new or gently- used books (especially children and young adult books) by bringing them to the main office of the school.
